What began as a search for a good place to enjoy a cigar became A Little Bit of Big Sky—a cigar shop, private lounge, and community built around a shared passion.
HOW IT STARTED
Sometimes You Have to Build What You're Looking For.
After moving to the Flathead Valley in 2020, Bill went looking for something he'd left behind—a comfortable place to enjoy a good cigar. When he couldn't find the kind of cigar lounge he was looking for, the answer eventually became obvious: build one.
On January 1, 2021, Bill and Rhonda opened A Little Bit of Big Sky Cigar & Lounge south of Kalispell. One of the earliest people through the door was Tyler Brown—the lounge's first paying member.
What started small didn't stay small. Membership grew, friendships formed, and the lounge became about much more than cigars.
THE NEXT CHAPTER
As the membership grew, so did the need for more room. Through connections made in the lounge, an opportunity opened up on Main Street in downtown Kalispell—and it was too good to pass up.
In July 2024, Bill, Rhonda, and Tyler got the keys to the new space. Tyler had gone from the lounge's first paying member to becoming a partner in its next chapter.
What followed took a lot of work and a lot of help from the people who had made A Little Bit of Big Sky what it was. Together, we transformed an empty upstairs space into the cigar shop and lounge we call home today.

A Little Bit of Big Sky has always been about more than what's in the humidor. It's about the conversations that happen over a cigar, the friendships that form around the room, and having a place where you can settle in and feel welcome.
Some people come in knowing exactly what they want. Others are lighting their first cigar. Some stop by for an hour, and some become part of the family. That's what we hoped this place could become.
